Meet official representatives of Heilongjiang Province and 13 companies that are active in the following sectors : Automotive, Machinery, Railway, Energy, Chemical and Petrochemical industry, Mineral resources, Agrofood and Tourism.
Heilongjiang Province is located in the North Eastern part of China. Its eastern and northern parts border with Russia and its western and southern parts are adjacent to Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Jilin Province. There are 25 national first-class ports in the Province. Among them, there are 15 ports on the Sino-Russian borderline. Heilongjiang Province is an important passage for Asia and the Pacific Ocean Region to reach Russia and European Continent. The population consists of 38 million people.
Heilongjiang is one of the main industrial bases in China. It has large-scale equipment manufactories including automobile, helicopter, power plant, machinery and tooling as well as railway cargo vehicle. Most of the industries are concentrated in Harbin, the capital city of the Province, Daqing and Qiqihaer, which combined can be defined as the industry zone.
Heilongjiang has a large and fertile land. It is one of the third largest grain production areas in China. The province is famous for green agrofood including rice, corn, beans, vegetable, fruit, milk, pork and cow, as well as subsidiary products.
Heilongjiang focus on the development of every new kind of material including: high-performance metal materials, fiber and composite materials, photoelectric materials, photovoltaic new materials, new chemical materials, high-performance special plastics, new-type ceramic materials and new-type building materials.
In order to develop the economy of Heilongjiang, the government welcomes all kinds of service companies to come to Heilongjiang to extend their business.

As a follow-up of this meeting, BECI organises a business trip to China from June 15th to June 23rd with a visit to the Heilongjiang province, preceded by a visit to Fujian province (South East China). Matchmaking events and organised meetings with local companies in these two provinces are on the programme.
