Overall Project Objective

 

With the Support of the EU Pro€Invest Programme, the SOPSED project seeks to build institutional capacity among all partners with the ultimate objective of strengthening private sector opportunities nationally, regionally and internationally.

Specific Objectives

 

  • Capacity building of business intermediaries
  • Establish a strategic alliance between the 12 organisations
  • Creation of EU-Africa partner database
  • Upskill staff in:
    • Information & Communications Technology
    • Inter-regional and International Trade

Development including policy issues and B2B opportunities

  • Governance including advocacy, public private dialogue, accreditation  and internal quality management
  • Organisational Sustainability and Development

19th - 21st September 2011 Business Mission to Nairobi, Kenya
