Master the skills needed to support the reorganization of a company in difficulty!
In an uncertain economic climate, the role of the reorganization practitioner has never been so essential. This professional stands at the center of the legislation relating to the reorganization of companies in difficulty. Especially in the private judicial reorganization procedures and in business mediation, the business court appoints a reorganization practitioner to contribute to preserving the continuity of the activities of a company in difficulty. Under the supervision of the court, this court-appointed representative helps companies and creditors to reach amicable or collective agreements, making use of a range of specific legal provisions.
In response to the increasing complexity of this task, we have developed a certified cycle of training sessions so that current and future reorganization practitioners can acquire the skills they need to perform their role.
These skills cover a large and varied number of areas:
- Mastery of sometimes new and complex legal rules : judicial reorganization, business mediation, insolvency...
- Understanding of financial issues : reading accounts, valuation, taxes...
- Advanced negotiation and business mediation techniques : negotiations with creditors and public authorities
Flexible and thematic training
This cycle consists of 9 half training days (each 4 hours), divided into 18 thematic modules. Participants can personalize their training by choosing the modules that best suit their needs, offered in French or Dutch. Participants can choose modules in either language or a combination of both.
Topics covered
Each participant will be able to explore, among others, the following topics :
- The basic principles of insolvency law,
- The specific characteristics of out-of-court and judicial reorganization,
- Financial aspects (analysis of accounts, valuation, taxation),
- Negotiation techniques with creditors and public authorities,
- Ethics and obligations in labor law.
A team of experts
Under the coordination of Bart De Moor, a team of specialists, each recognized in their field (lawyers, magistrates and accountants), will guide the entire cycle !
