Customs Forum Brussels: Meeting between Companies and Customs
This event is held in French and Dutch
For companies that export or import goods outside the European Union, going through customs is unavoidable. Having your documents in order ensures that you receive the necessary authorisations from the customs administration for clearance and delivery of goods from your supplier or to your client.
For several years now, Beci and the General Administration of Customs and Excise have jointly organised the Regional Customs Forum Brussels – an annual meeting between Brussels-based companies and the customs and excise services. The next forum will take place on Wednesday, 15 October.
Programme :
🔹My Customs - a new application for better tracking of declaration controls and improved communication between businesses and customs.
🔹New authorisations for the trade of tobacco and alcohol (KISSIC)
🔹New AC4 - a new application that will replace PLDA next year for AC4 declarations.
🔹PDIE - mandatory since 1 July for professional diesel refund requests.
🔹IDMS - a new application that will replace PLDA for import procedures.
After these presentations, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions to customs representatives, share any challenges they may face, and put forward constructive suggestions to help optimise customs services in their interactions with businesses.
Please send us your questions in advance (à jpm@beci.be) so that speakers can prepare their answers if needed.
Who Should Attend
The Brussels Customs Forum is primarily aimed at companies that export or import outside the European Union. It focuses in particular on SMEs with limited experience in dealing with basic customs issues when trading with non-EU countries, as well as excise duties on certain products.
Participation
Participation is free, but the registration is mandatory.
