ESG for all: Well-being, inclusion and flexibility: levers to recruit, and above all, to retain talent.
The debates may take place in English, Dutch and French.
What really makes talent stay, or leave, today?
The human factor has become a key driver of performance, and sometimes fragility, for Brussels-based companies.
In a context of structural talent shortages, costly turnover, absenteeism and managerial fatigue, many companies are facing the same questions:
- Should we invest more in well-being and flexibility?
- Where does the employer’s responsibility begin and where does it end?
- Is inclusion a real performance lever or a source of internal tension?
- And ultimately: what costs more today, recruiting new talent or retaining existing teams?
This new ESG For All session offers a pragmatic, no–nonsense discussion, designed to help companies better understand what really makes employees stay or leave
Together, we will identify:
- what is myth and what reflects operational reality,
- the concrete trade-offs companies are facing,
- and the actionable levers to improve talent retention without driving up costs or losing managerial control.
The ambition is not to “give lessons”, but to bring clarity to a complex topic that is often a source of internal tension.
Speakers:
To fuel this discussion, three field experts will share their experiences and concrete, operational actions related to these issues. Two companies will share their experiences in the field, without presenting themselves as perfect models:
- what caused talent to leave,
- what helped retain key people,
- mistakes that were made,
- difficult decisions and trade-offs along the way.
Among them:
Stéphanie de Partz - Co-founder, CareForce One
Laurence Doucet - Marketing & Experience Leader, Silversquare
Manuela Mairer - Director Administration HR & Finance Hôtel Marriott
Erika Dooms, experte au sein du Centre d'expertise Talent de Partena Professional.
And, an expert perspective HR will provide a clear framework to:
- understand how employee expectations are truly evolving,
- separate what is essential from what is optional,
- clarify the limits of employer responsibility,
- identify the very real risks of inaction (turnover, absenteeism, employer branding).
All insights will be translated into practical decision-making tools for business leaders, managers and HR professionals.anagers et responsables RH.
