On 1 May, the EU–Mercosur agreement provisionally entered into force. In this context, VBO-FEB, in collaboration with Voka, AKT, Beci, UNIZO, UCM and AVED-IHK, is organizing a practical information session for Belgian companies. The objective of this session is to help businesses better understand the content of the agreement and how to implement it in practice.

The focus will be on market access and the business opportunities offered by Mercosur countries, as well as on the practical aspects of correctly applying the agreement. What will concretely change for exporters? Which trade barriers are being removed? And how can companies start preparing today?

In addition to presentations by the European Commission and other experts, the session will feature expert panels and interactive discussions with the audience. Belgian companies already active in the region will share their experiences and lessons learned from the field.
