Civil service: reform of disability pensions
From disability pensions to... nothing? How to implement a planned phase-out
The issue of long-term sick leave and compensation for civil servants is a fundamental one. After introducing an initial reform of physical disability pensions in 2024, the legislator wants to go one step further with a bill that, while reiterating the desire to abolish all medical disability pensions, would also aim to abolish the temporary work disability allowance scheme for civil servants (AIF), which was due to come into force in 2028.
This new reform will force public employers to rethink their approach to incapacity for work and the treatment of civil servants on long-term sick leave.
This training course guides you through these fundamental changes and their practical implications for HR management.
