Employee share ownership: strategies and best practice

The seminar will be held in French, from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm

In an increasingly competitive labour market, it is crucial for companies to find ways to motivate their staff and retain them. Share options and employee share ownership are effective tools that can transform corporate culture and boost the performance of Belgian companies, whether they are start-ups, scale-ups, medium-sized or large enterprises.

This practical training course will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the benefits, challenges and best practices for implementing employee share ownership schemes within your organisations.

Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your remuneration, retention and motivation strategy. During the training, we will address the following questions in particular:

  • How can I align my company’s strategy with an employee share scheme?
  • Which tool should I choose: share options, subscription rights, bonus shares or shares at a discount, etc., and why?
  • What tax and parafiscal considerations need to be taken into account, both for employees and the company?
  • What are the best practices for structuring an equity incentive scheme from a legal perspective?
  • How can I communicate effectively with staff?
  • What operational aspects need to be considered once the scheme is in place?
  • Q&A session to clarify any doubts and share experiences.
