Open terrace, events, training and services: there's no pause when it comes to supporting entrepreneurs. Once again this summer, Beci is ready to stand by the side of Brussels businesses.
Sunny days don't stop the economy, and they certainly don't stop entrepreneurs. That's why Beci will remain active throughout the summer, albeit in a summer format, but still with the same objective: to inform, connect and support Brussels businesses. Targeted training, convivial events and services are all at your fingertips, from the rooftop to the ATA carnet.
This is happening at Beci this summer
When the weather's right, Beci's rooftop is the place to be. Since the beginning of June, the Good Morning 500 on the terrace of 500 avenue Louise has been the go-to spot on Thursday mornings, for coffee and croissants. This is where the entrepreneur's breakfast takes place, with summer conversations between those who make up the local economy. A chill interlude, but always useful. The last meeting is scheduled for 3 July, before resuming at the end of August, same venue, same atmosphere.
Other events also mark the start of the summer. ESG For All, our programme to raise awareness of environmental, social and governance issues, continues in June. On the 10th, we'll be holding an event devoted to the textile industry. How can we combine style, impact and growth? Companies from the sector will be talking about how they are reinventing their models to combine creativity and responsibility. Because the ecological transition is also being played out... in our wardrobes. It's an opportunity to get some inspiration before taking off for the summer. The programme will resume in September, with a new theme.
Another hot topic is electronic invoicing. Despite being mandatory from 2026, it still raises a number of questions. On 27 June, we'll be taking a look at the situation: what will change? How do you prepare for it? What tools need to be put in place? On holiday that day? Don't worry, a new session is planned for the autumn.
And on 27 August, we're preparing a preview of a new summer event: Beci Summer Summit, an event that brings together all those who live and work in the capital, love it, or dream about it. In short, a lighter, freer version to talk about Brussels in a different way. Click here for the event!
They'll be back for the autumn!
As soon as the summer season is over, Beci is back at it again. On 26 August and 2 September, a union negotiation workshop will get the ball rolling. The aim is to provide managers and human resources officers with the tools they need to build a calmer and more effective social dialogue.
The Talent Talks series will be making a comeback. Each edition focuses on major changes in the world of work in Brussels: youth, inclusion, skills, the future of the job market, etc. Each session features discussions between experts, entrepreneurs, professionals and public authorities. The next theme is still to be announced, but the tone will remain the same: committed and forward-looking. Beci will keep you posted.
And of course, the Inspirational Scale-up Nights will also be returning, with the same schedule: every last Tuesday of the month. These unfiltered, no-nonsense get-togethers give the floor to entrepreneurs who have managed to scale-up and who want to pass on their successes and mistakes... Real stories, real lessons, real inspiration.
Voice, Connect & Serve, even in summer
While events change pace, some things never stop. That's the case with business services, which Beci provides all summer long. Export formalities, certificates of origin, ATA carnets: these are all necessary documents for companies doing business across borders. And if you're wondering what an ATA carnet is, you should know that it's simply a passport for your professional equipment, useful for trade fairs, film shoots, demonstrations, etc. The certificate of origin, for its part, attests to the origin of a product, useful for clearing customs.
Above all, our mission remains the same: to represent Brussels businesses to the authorities (Voice), to create links and connections between them (Connect), and to provide services that simplify their procedures (Serve). This summer, as all year round, the Brussels business community can count on Beci.
So, when are you droppping by?
Whether you're staying in Brussels this summer or already preparing for the start of autumn, our doors – and our terrace – are open. Come and take a look at what's going on, meet other entrepreneurs, or simply share a coffee while you connect or learn something new. We look forward to seeing you.
