Beci, Era Balaj

In Brussels, Beci serves as the local relay for the European Enterprise Europe Network. A support point for SMEs wishing to develop beyond national borders.

Launched by the European Commission, the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is a network that connects companies with experts across more than 60 countries. Its mission is to help SMEs grow beyond their traditional markets by providing clear information on opportunities and facilitating contact with foreign partners.

For Brussels-based companies, Beci acts as the local EEN contact point, in close collaboration with hub.brussels: together, they meet the specific needs of companies seeking to export internationally. Based on a diagnostic assessment, experts evaluate potential markets and regulatory challenges, then provide guidance on the most appropriate procedures.

Support from Brussels

Beyond advisory services, Beci also helps identify suitable funding, notably through European programmes, and provides an understanding of the local or Community regulations applicable to the export or import of goods and services.

Another key lever: networking. Thanks to EEN tools and events, companies can get in touch with commercial, technological, or research partners abroad. Beci supports these efforts, prepares the exchanges, and remains a point of contact throughout the process.

Through EEN, the organisation stands alongside Brussels entrepreneurs, from their initial enquiries to their first steps in a new market.
