Brussels, March 17, 2026 – Partena Professional and Beci, located at Avenue Louise 500, are coordinating their efforts to streamline access to entrepreneurship and de-risk the initial steps for future self-employed professionals. A structured framework is currently available for Brussels-based jobseekers wishing to start their own business: the Self-Employed Grant (Prime indépendant), spearheaded by Actiris and bolstered by personalized coaching.

The Self-Employed Grant provides financial assistance of up to €4,000 over six months. It is part of a step-by-step journey: project analysis, viability validation, activation of legal status, and submission of the application. This support—provided notably by Partena Professional’s Dreams Lab, an Actiris-certified support structure—aims to prevent administrative errors and secure the business launch. The guidance follows an end-to-end logic to ensure the long-term sustainability of the projects.

"Becoming self-employed is a life-changing decision. Our role is to secure every stage of that journey. Together with Beci, we are creating an ecosystem that increases the chances of success from day one," says Roeland Van Dessel, CEO of Partena Professional.

Upon registering as self-employed via Partena Professional’s Brussels business desk (guichet d'entreprises), beneficiaries also receive a one-year membership at Beci. This grants them immediate entry into Brussels’ largest business community, allowing them to establish their first professional contacts within the capital’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

"We must stimulate entrepreneurship in Brussels. Alongside Partena Professional and regional authorities, Beci wants to encourage those who decide to take the leap," emphasizes Thierry Geerts, CEO of Beci.

Through this integrated framework in the heart of Brussels, Partena Professional and Beci are strengthening the bridges between job seeking and entrepreneurship, fostering a long-term collaborative approach for the benefit of the regional economy.
