Navigating the complex world of customs formalities can quickly turn into a headache. If you export products outside the European Union, or if you import products from outside Europe, you have to complete customs formalities and pay customs duties that vary according to the country of origin and destination, and also according to the origin of the products.

The United States recently hit the news with an increase in customs duties on products from a whole range of countries, including the European Union. Beci and Enterprise Europe Brussels are inviting Brussels companies to learn how to use the Access2markets platform in this webinar hosted by experts from the European Commission's DG Trade.

The Access2Markets platform allows you to get the information you need when trading with third countries, including customs duties, taxes, procedures, formalities and requirements, rules of origin, export measures, statistics, trade barriers. You can also learn more about EU trade agreements and how to take advantage of them to lower your customs duties.

This webinar will help you understand how to benefit from tariff advantages, especially when there is a free trade agreement between the EU and the country of origin or destination. This online training will provide an in-depth explanation of the Access2Markets platform, how to use its different functionalities as well as a dedicated section on the Rules of Origin Self-Assessment Tool (ROSA), followed by a Q&A.
