Build your own apps and automations with Claude Code - Level 3
Claude│ Training in French level 3 (Max 15 participants).
Build your own apps and automations with Claude Code
Claude Code is an AI agent that works directly on your computer. It reads and creates files, writes code, runs it and turns your ideas into working tools. You describe what you want in plain English, Claude Code builds it, and you test and adjust. No programming skills needed.
This one-day workshop is a practical introduction for non-developer professionals who use generative AI and are curious to go further: build a small app, automate a repetitive task, and see what becomes possible when an AI can actually act on your computer.
The format is hands-on: short demos, guided exercises and a mini-project of your own. You leave with one or two working creations, a simple method to describe what you need, and a clear idea of what you can do next on your own.
Training objectives
By the end of the day, participants will be able to:
- Understand what Claude Code is and how it differs from a chat assistant like Claude.ai.
- Set up and start Claude Code on their own computer, safely (working folder, permissions).
- Turn an idea into clear instructions for the agent: describe, test, adjust.
- Automate a simple everyday task on their own files (sorting, renaming, converting, cleaning data).
- Create a small personal app (web page, form, calculator, mini-dashboard) that runs in their browser.
- Know the limits and good practices: sensitive data, checking results, costs, when to ask for help.
The Program
Morning | Discover Claude Code and automate your first tasks
Content :
- What an AI agent is, and what Claude Code can (and cannot) do for you
- Getting started: installation, connection, working folder and permissions
- The basic method: describe the result you want, let the agent work, check and refine
- Live demos: tidying a messy folder, turning a pile of files into a summary table
Hands-on practice:
- First steps with Claude Code on your own computer
- Guided exercise: automate a small repetitive task (rename, convert, merge or clean files)
Outcome: Claude Code up and running, and a first automation that works
Afternoon | Create your own mini-app
Content :
- From script to app: building a simple tool you can use in your browser
- Improving step by step: adding features, fixing bugs, making it look good
- Good practices: saving your work, reusing instructions, protecting sensitive data, keeping costs under control
- Where to go next: ideas, resources, and how to keep learning on your own
Hands-on practice:
- Mini-project: each participant builds a small app or automation based on their own idea, with support from the trainer
- Quick show-and-tell and group feedback
Outcome: A personal app or automation you can keep using after the training
