Customs Contact Days - Indonesia & Vietnam
The event will be held in English.
The Benelux-Indonesia Association, the Belgian Vietnamese Alliance and Beci are pleased to invite you to the Customs Contact Days, taking place on 29 October 2026 at 09:00 (CET) at the World Trade Center III (Boulevard Simon Bolivar 30, 1000 Brussels), organised in close cooperation with the Belgian Customs authorities.
This event is an opportunity to get direct insights from the Belgian customs attaché based in Jakarta, accredited for Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. You will be able to ask practical questions about import, export, transit, samples, blocked shipments or unclear procedures, and explore how smoother customs procedures and stronger cooperation can support your business in Southeast Asia.
The Belgian customs attachés work with local customs authorities, various organisations, and regional representatives such as FIT, AWEX and hub.brussels. They provide information and advice to help facilitate the logistics chain and can liaise with local administrations when needed.
It is also possible to book a one-to-one meeting in advance to discuss your specific plans or challenges.
Join us for a morning of direct exchanges with the Belgian and Vietnamese customs authorities.
Market Focus
Indonesia | Vietnam |
Belgium and Indonesia maintain a strong and expanding trade relationship, with real opportunities for Belgian exporters and Benelux companies looking for reliable long-term partnerships in Southeast Asia. This meeting will address how to improve customs procedures and cooperation, as well as upcoming regulatory developments (EUDR, CEPA). | Vietnam has emerged as one of Asia's most attractive business destinations, driven by sustained growth and a rapidly expanding market. The EU–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) is progressively eliminating up to 99% of customs duties, but making the most of it requires a solid understanding of customs procedures and rules of origin. |
