Whilst we must not underestimate its impact on employment and ways of working, this revolution also opens up new opportunities for value creation and innovation, whilst raising the question of how each of us can adapt to these changes.

The event will be structured around two complementary panels
Panel 1 - Skills, training and the working environment
How can we adapt skills and support workers and jobseekers in the face of AI?
AI is accelerating the transformation of existing jobs and redefining the key skills of the future. This panel will address the challenges of initial and continuing training, professional reskilling, and the adaptation of the world of work.
Discussions will focus in particular on:
- the changing landscape of critical skills across all sectors
- the rise of continuous learning and reskilling
- the role of public bodies, trade unions and businesses
- the need for an ethical and social framework surrounding AI in the workplace
Panel 2 - Innovation, businesses and the creation of new jobs
How is AI transforming organisations and giving rise to new professions?
Beyond fears of job displacement, AI is also a driver of economic transformation and innovation. This panel will explore how businesses are integrating these technologies and redefining their operational models.
Discussions will cover:
- the integration of AI into business strategies
- the emergence of new professions and hybrid roles
- productivity gains and the reorganisation of work
- issues of governance, accountability and acceptability
