The hidden drivers of SME performance
SMEs account for more than 99% of Belgium's business landscape. Yet we still have limited data on their ability to align strategy, organizational structure, company culture and strategy execution.
While Belgian SMEs are among the most digitally advanced in Europe (DESI 2024), the OECD highlights that their main challenges relate to internal organization, access to skills, change management and the ability to execute the strategy defined by their leadership effectively.
A 360° view of your organization
Unlike many surveys that only collect the perspective of business leaders, this barometer also gives employees a voice. An SME's maturity cannot be measured solely by its financial performance; it should also reflect what is happening within its teams.
Practical insights for improvement
The results will help identify the obstacles limiting performance, such as a lack of strategic alignment, insufficient role clarity, execution challenges or resistance to change. These are all areas where concrete action can make a real difference.
