From Liège to Brussels, Luxembourg to Montreal, NSI has forged its path by focusing on proximity and growth. Today, the company is strengthening its commitment to the capital by partnering with Beci.

When Manuel Pallage, CEO of NSI, tells the story of his company, he likes to refer back to its roots in Liège. It all began more than thirty years ago with the establishment of a small IT services company. It did not yet have any grand ambitions, but it already had one conviction: digital technology would be everywhere. Since then, NSI has grown, a lot. The IT specialist now has nearly 2,000 employees and offices in Brussels, Luxembourg, France and even Canada. This continuous expansion has not made it forget its Belgian roots or its desire to contribute to the local ecosystem. It recently became one of Beci's structural partners.

From Liège to the international stage

‘In 2010, we had around 200 employees. Today, we have nearly 2,000 across four countries,’ summarises Manuel Pallage, CEO of NSI. This almost exponential growth is based above all on a targeted approach: being where customers need us to be.

NSI has long been present in the capital, where it has strengthened its teams and projects. ‘It's a great adventure. It shows that even in French-speaking Belgium, you can build IT champions,’ he adds.

French-speaking markets are a natural terrain for NSI, which deploys its expertise in systems integration and digital support there. With 1,100 employees in Belgium, 600 in Luxembourg and nearly 200 in France, the company is one of the strongest IT players in the French-speaking European landscape.

IT, an everyday tool

What does NSI's day-to-day work look like? The IT company defines itself above all as a versatile integrator. ‘We offer application development, turnkey solution integrations such as Microsoft Dynamics, as well as IT resources and infrastructure support,’ explains Olivier Clabots, Country Manager Belgium. The company has invested in the Belgian solution Odoo, mobilising more than thirty in-house specialists to meet growing demand.

We have a role to play in the Brussels SME ecosystem, so collaborating with Beci makes sense.

This versatility enables NSI to support both SMEs and public institutions. The company works with the City of Brussels, municipalities and large administrations. ‘Our goal is to streamline processes, simplify life for organisations and enhance their efficiency,’ Olivier Clabots continues. Whether deploying ERP, CRM or cloud solutions for HR management, NSI contributes directly to its clients’ competitiveness by offering them tools to better manage their activities and expand internationally.

Beci and NSI, a partnership serving Brussels

This strong presence in the Brussels economic fabric made the partnership with Beci almost inevitable. For Manuel Pallage, the move was a no-brainer: "We have a strong presence among SMEs, both in Wallonia and Brussels. Joining Beci was a logical step, just like our participation in other regional initiatives. ‘ Beyond the grand words, the new partner insists: digital technology has become essential to remain competitive. ’Even in times of crisis, companies invest in ERP or CRM because they know it will allow them to better manage their resources and open up new markets,’ observes the CEO.

IT must be recognised as an economic driving force in its own right

This belief is in line with Beci's mission: to support Brussels-based companies in their transformation so that they can seize the opportunities offered by a changing market. ‘We believe that equipping SMEs from all sectors with IT skills is almost a duty. In a region where there's a lot of talk about biotech, logistics and other areas of retraining, IT must be recognised as an economic driving force in its own right,’ says NSI.

By joining the Beci community, NSI confirms its desire to play an active role in the development of the local ecosystem. Today, the company positions itself as a partner committed to both the economy and society.
