There is no doubt: the government is determined to reduce the number of long-term sick leaves. As a result, reintegration is becoming less of an optional track and more of an obligation for both employers and employees. That is why it is essential for companies to start thinking now about implementing a coherent, integrated absenteeism policy.

With a clear absenteeism policy – including procedures for sick leave notification and reintegration – you can achieve excellent results fairly quickly. One important prerequisite: your policy must be properly monitored from the start, and you need to communicate about it regularly.
