ESG for All: Breaking the Poverty Cycle
Debates can be held in English, Dutch and French.
In a constantly changing world, integrating ESG criteria - Environmental, Social and Governance criteria - is not just a list of European obligations to be fulfilled, it is also an opportunity to redefine one's business model and ensure its economic robustness by working on a long-term development strategy.
ESG for all is a series of monthly meetings bringing together entrepreneurs and committed players to discuss ESG issues. Each edition is an opportunity to share experiences and challenges, in a spirit of inspiration and action.
For this 5ᵉ edition, we invite you to explore the theme of poverty, a major social issue, through the intersecting views of players in the field and committed companies.
Breaking the poverty cercle
For this first instalment of the ESG for All series, the starting point for our discussions will be the latest report published by the King Baudouin Foundation, which highlights the complexity of poverty, identifies future challenges and invites us to collectively rethink our model of society to achieve greater justice and resilience.
To enrich this debate, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Bruno Colmant, who will present the main points and lessons of the report. We will also hear from Catherine Goormaghtigh (Colruyt), Céline Nieuwenhuys (FDSS), Laura De Boeck (IKEA) and Yves Dario (King Baudouin Foundation). Through their expertise and initiatives, our speakers will share how they are implementing sustainable solutions, inspiring other organisations and helping to reduce precariousness in tangible ways.
