FARI Brussels Local Impact Award

Join us in Brussels for the 5th edition of the FARI Brussels Conference,

a two-day event exploring the theme

“Brussels, Capital of AI?”

Across Europe, many countries and cities are embracing AI and positioning themselves as places where innovation, research, startups, public policy, and regulation come together. But what does it mean to speak of “capitals of AI” in a rapidly evolving and fragmented landscape? Do we need one capital, many capitals, or stronger coordination across ecosystems?

For Brussels, AI, data, and robotics are no longer abstract topics. They are practical realities shaping public services, businesses, research, and everyday life. The question is not whether AI will shape Brussels, but how Brussels will shape AI.

Over two days, the FARI Brussels Conference 2026 will bring together researchers, policymakers, public institutions, companies, civil society, and citizens to reflect on these questions and explore how Brussels can contribute to AI that is inclusive, democratic, trustworthy, and developed for the common good.

An Enriching Program

Come meet experts in AI, robotics, ethics, and regulation who will share their insights and knowledge on this year’s theme.
