TALENT TALKS #4: Long-term sick leave : succeeding together in the return to work

The 4th edition of Beci’s Talent Talks will take place at Beci in Brussels on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, focusing on a major challenge: enabling the return to work of people on long-term sick leave.

In the context of the forthcoming federal reforms, this event will provide an opportunity to explore reintegration in all its dimensions: economic, social and human. We will look at both the broader issues – such as the sustainability of social security and labour market needs – and the individual realities, from personal pathways to maintaining the link with the employer.

Employers, health insurance funds, doctors, prevention advisers, wellbeing professionals and public authorities will share their perspectives to identify existing barriers and potential levers for action.

Beyond the legal framework, the emphasis will be on finding concrete solutions that reconcile health, dignity and employment.

The afternoon will conclude with a networking drink.

The detailed programme and the list of speakers will be announced shortly.

The event will take place in French and Dutch.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
