Legislative updates
- Return to work in the event of incapacity: new obligations arising from the Act of 19 December 2025 (medical force majeure, certificates, guaranteed salary, criminal sanctions, work regulations).
- Reintegration and prevention of long-term absences: Reintegration Pathway 3.0 (Royal Decree of 17 December 2025).
- New social obligations applicable as from 1 January 2026 (Act of 18 December 2025): first employment, student work, meal vouchers and end-of-career time credit.
Case law updates
- Duty of loyalty and social media;
- Serious cause and the importance of the adversarial nature of evidence;
- Application by the Council of State of non-discrimination law to civil servants;
- Limitation period of disciplinary proceedings and knowledge of the facts;
- Protection against dismissal in the event of filing a police complaint for workplace harassment;
- Employer liability regarding psychosocial risks;
